Sam started the company in 1980 and has been the sole director and owner ever since.

In the 40 years that Sam has been involved in this business and in the kitchen industry, he has seen a lot of companies come and go and he has also seen many companies change ownership. Degabriele Kitchens has been in the same hands during all this time.
It takes passion and dedication to steer a company over such a long period of time, Degabriele Kitchens’ secret has always been to innovate and to set ever higher standards.
Unlike a lot of other kitchen and joinery company owners and operators, Sam’s background was not trade related.
Sam was able to, therefore, bring a different perspective to the running of Degabriele Kitchens, placing the emphasis more on the quality of the service and the accommodation of the customers, rather than the traditional, trade based approach.
When not thinking about kitchens, Sam likes to relax by reading, gardening, enjoying classical music and travelling.
