Client Brief:
Seeking a statement bathroom with a dramatic monochromatic scheme, the client wanted to showcase a unique black, freestanding Caroma bathtub. Pendant lights, a feature wall and plenty of storage were also on their wishlist.

Focal Design Elements:
This bathroom design creates an instant WOW factor with its black and white design. The contrasting colour palette is exaggerated with the densely patterned feature tile, black bath and Struto marble floor tiles.
The bath is elevated on a small platform step, enhancing its presence and scale. A clever optical illusion makes the bath feel as if it’s floating. This is achieved by tiling the floor and platform in the same light Stuto marble, and the vertical edge of the elevation in the high-contrast feature tile.
Sleek, wall mounted chrome taps and a pair of beautiful, white Caroma counter basins create a contemporary and clean finish, without detracting from the other design features. Black cabinetry house concealed and exposed shelving, which offers practicality as well as a visual anchor. Three black pendants mounted above the bath add further luxury to the space.
